I had the opportunity to introduce to young guys to the miss river today! Didn’t get to do much fishing…. mostly tying, but what a great day!
We started out fishing for whitebass with some good luck and a couple small mouth bass and a catfish and the usual sheephead, we then went after some eyes with a nice pic of a decent eye (thanks to pro v)
Got out after the rain finally stopped but the fishing was great,, fished for about 2 hours.. What a great resource the miss river is! These kids have lived in Ellsworth their whole life and never experienced the river until today, that was rewarding in itself! Share the experience it is well worth it!
