Was on Pepin Sat before the cold and rain came and my new locator was telling me that the surface temp was 68-70 degrees? Is it really that warm? thanks Bret

The surface temp was 62.5 degrees this AM. It cooled quite a bit. Did it matter? Our first fish today was 29″!! If it did, I didn’t notice and neither did the walleye…LOL

I’m going to get me one of those 29″ Walleye this year even if I have to put on my SCUBA equipment and chase it down.

Thanks for the response guys. Just had to check my new locator/gps as I didn’t quite trust it as I had a few problems with it on Sat. Think I need to reinitialize it or something. Gotta reread the owners manual. Thanks, Bret

You sure know how to tease a guy James- first fish a 29”. Oh well, almost Friday. Nate already left for the river for the weekend a bit ago and I’ll be down Friday night for the weekend. Too darn many days between weekends. Sharp new look to the message board, I like it. Thanks James and Steve, Bill
