Beaver’s articles

I noticed in the article section that Beavers articles are not listed there any longer, why is this? I’ve also noticed that he’s not active on the board any more, where are you Beav?

So what is the deal here??? Sure a tight-lipped bunch since nobody has offered an update in 24 hours!! Sure hope Beaver is not relegated to the sidelines as I consider him the ‘Professor’ of the ringies and superdo’s!!

Beaver posted here that the articles were removed at his request. He resigned and is no longer a EFN Pro staff member. General Dicussion Board article dated 05/06/02 titled “Beaver”.

Tight lipped or…………………like me…………..unknowing. Leo hit it on the head. Beav said what he said and that’s that. I think most of us have no idea so it’s hard to comment on something we know nothing about. And even if we did, why should we dishonor Beav’s request? I wouldn’t have even said this much but I don’t feel there’s a necessity to draw any implications here. We don’t know anything but his request should be honored and left alone. Scuttlebutt can stay in the pm’s.

Beav is a good writer. He was looking at a business opportunity to do more of it… and get paid to do it. He wanted to try and take his articles to publications for that purpose. And since the articles were basically “on loan”…. we gladly removed the articles at his request and wished him the very best in his future endevours.

Thanks for the update and clarification guys. I must have missed the 05/06 article and likewise wish Beaver the best in his endeavor.

I’m not dead yet!
Nice to know that I’ve been missed. Thanks guys. I still visit from time to time, but to tell you the truth, I haven’t been on The River since around Easter. In fact, I haven’t been fishing much anywhere. Having a six year old involved in weekend hockey among other things has kept me off the water alot this year.
But like James said, I stepped down from the Pro-Staff status and went back to just being a fisherman. So don’t you guys read anything into it. It was purely a business and personal decission that was made on my part and Steve and James were upright guys and honored my request.
You haven’t heard the last of me. As soon as I get a chance to fish, I might actually have something to post about.
One thing is for sure, it looks like the whole ring-worm thing wasn’t just a fad afterall
Gotta get some of them sherbert ones myself.

It’s good to read that there are alot of people out there doing really well on that presentation, be it lakes or rivers. Glad I could contribute to other anglers success. That’s what writers are striving for. Educating fellow anglers, and then seeing that they’ve done well with what you’ve tried to convey is the best reward that somebody like me could ask for. Since I’m not fishing much, it’s good to see that there are people out there picking up the slack for me.
