    EFN FTR’ers…

Those willing to be of help… on shore… for the “BB/BS EFN Gathering” at Everts Resort on July 19th, should let EFN know by posting on this thread. Rich “Smitty” Smith will be in charge of “Shore Duity” and help to designate and assign duities / positions for those that can help.

Please let him know of your arrival and departure times, talents (such as cooking, teaching fishing, tending boats and traffic…etc.).

Thanks much for the aid in making this day extra special to some very special kid-o’s.

Grilling dogs is a far cry from catching fish though. Hope we have some nice weather and hope the kids catch some fish. Hey Steve you got firewood over there for some campfires or you need some for the BB and BS day not to mention sitting around having a cold one or two Saturday night. Also I was wondering who’s figuring out the chow and who to contact for helping or if items are needed like roasters, I also have a large stainless steel thermos that holds 3 or 4 gallons of hot or cold drinks. You should give Steve Vick at Everts Resort a shout, He can tell You if he thinks he has enough fire wood for the event, though it would be nice if we had some to leave him . I’m Almost sure that “SOMEBODY” with a “TRUCK” might volunteer to bring it over . Their might be something a little extra in their tackle box if that happens ???? Thanks for the offer !

Gees… now you have me thinking… and that could be trouble!

I just thought of what if some of these kids want to take some fish home… suppose I better have some extra ice on hand too! Rich, you might have to add the filet knife and zip-fish-baggies to your list of tools to haul.

Yep, I think the food is covered… and snacks. But we could use a big cooler (for ice) and a big thermos/water can.

Pots and pans… covered. Roaster not needed. Steve has a cooker for the hotdog boil (and I’ll bring mine). I’ll buy paper cups (they make great fire-starters!)

Wood….? Steve V. , we going to need wood for the weekend?

If somebody had easy access to campfire size pieces of wood, that would be great. Otherwise, I can go on a driftwood hunt and gather a bunch. I do not have neatly cut/bundled firewood. We just pick it up off the beach when we need it…..Good way to get my campers to keep the beach clean!LOL. Let me know if you want me to gather some up. That would be no problem! Thanks.

    Dave,

I Think I can find somebody to Filet the fish for the kids, I’m sure somebody there knows how to run a knife. As far as baggies, I’ll get some ! If I can’t find some, we will just put them in their pockets ??? About the fire wood, we could probably get the local Boy Scouts to Shag wood and run the parking, they are always looking for things to do so they can get more meret badges. Just an idea, but it sure would take a load off of man power Problem !!! But if anyone wants to bring fire wood, the bribe is still on !!!
