Just wondering if any one has used these reels and if so how did you like them. I checked out the model 20 and boy was it smooth. Also the bail doesn’t spin when setting hook like some other reels. They reminded me of the Fin-Nor reels that I have used when fish with James.

I have a couple of the Okuma Epix 20’s and really like them. I don’t think you can buy a reel for under $60. with 10 BB and have it be better than these reels. I like the drag also, solid and smooth. For the money, I think one of the best on the market. I have a couple Tica Libra 2500’s also, 10 BB and smooth like the Okuma’s, super deal for around $60.

okuma seems like a great deal on a reel. i have a freind and a cousin who bought one, great reel. smoothest and nicest reel that i have used. Unfortunatly after a half a yr of use, my freinds broke, after 3 weeks the same exact peice broke on my cousins. i would suggest unless u will be able to get your money back not to but it.
