The short answer is yes. However, it can be pricey to do it right. This is becoming more and more affordable though. Go to Best Buy or a big chain store and ask somebody in the pc department and they will direct you to the software and video card that you need to accomplish this. DVD burners are real new pricey and slow right now so it may be worth waiting a bit longer on that technology but you can copy your video in mpeg, avi, or mov format I suppose directly to a cd.
