I had a question for any of the FTR staffers that post river conditions. I went to the NOAA site and found the river stage pretty easily, but was not able to find what the exact flow was, just exceedance tables. I was also wondering if you just get the water temp from your graph or if a site posts this as well. Maybe there could be a spot on the front page that included not only the stage, but also the flow and water temps. Reading this information and putting all three together can often tell you exactly when and where the fish will be biting, just ask some of the guys that have kept journals for years. Thanks for any input.

if you ever want to find the flow you can just call the dam and they will give you the flow no problem. I have done that many of times.

For those of you that fish the Miss below Guttenberg, IA try: http://water.mvr.usace.army.mil/

Thats for river flows on Pool 11 downstream to Pool 22 (Pools within the Rock Island District, Corps of Engineers). Go to Current Water Levels, and the Mississippi River Basin.
