Do yourself a favor… do it now.

I know it’s been said, but the time to fish is NOW! Summer is too short and the bite won’t last. Get out there and put in at least an 8 hour shift on the water, any piece of good water, and put the hammer to some fish. The sacrafices you make at work and home to go will be worth it to your soul.

Just got back from perhaps the best day of fishing I’ve ever had on Mille Lacs. My buddy and I went up yesterday and got 16 walleyes, 2 keepers, 3-4 under 16, and the rest 20-24″. To top the night off, the last fish was a 42″ Northern caught under a bobber on a leech and glow hook. What a day.

Do what it takes. Get out there and make it happen. Good Luck. Bret

I wish I could get a cushy job like you so I could fish all the time. Just kidding. Hey I’ve got Monday and Tuesday off next week. What’s your schedule look like? I’ll probably be down on Pepin both days.

Do myself a favor now? Do myself a favor and go ALWAYS!!! The part that’s good for the soul is good all year! And when the walleye season ends on Mille Lacs, take the trip to Pool 4. Or if a big lake is the must, go to Lake Winnebago. No slots and the season never closes! Just do it, and do it always I say!

I’ve got to work all next week, except the fourth. It was all I could do to get away yesterday for an entire day. My wife and I may go out on the fourth. Can’t decide if I want to deal with all the crazies out there on the 4th or not. See you at the store, I work tonight and Sat. Bret
