What are where are the best ramps on Pool 3.
Looking at a Bass Tourney coming up and just looking for the best options?

Since there is more bass country down stream, I would point you to the casino ramp. The ramp IN the casino is watched closely by security.

There’s others too, but not double ramps with any kind of security.

We usually launch out of Hastings at the park.

The Sturgeon Lake ramp has been open for over a week if you don’t mind kicking aside the occasional jam of flotsam. The dock on the other hand is hit or miss.

Hastings Marina is a great boat launch. Don’t know if the ice is out of the marina yet. They watch over the launch very good too. Very frendly owner who has helped me with my boat a few times.

First figure out where you want to fish. Then I would get a list of ramps and take a drive and check them out. I have only used Prescott’s ramp on Pool 3. Your Bass Tourney don’t you have to start from a point anyway?

I usually put in at the Hastings public ramp, lots of parking and they just redid the ramps. There’s also Prescott, which has a fee to launch. The advantage to Prescott is you are on the south side of the no wake zone, saving you some time if your heading down river.

    It’s a small B.A.S.S. Federation Club Tourney.
