Looking at buying a boathouse near la crosse. Anyone have an idea of a going rate on one of these, its not very big…just enough to get s 18ft boat in there, a couch and a fridge.
The whole thing is just sheet metal, nothing fancy at all.
Does have city electric, no other utilities.
Cant really seem to find any info on past sales so I’m not sure how to price this to see if the guy is in the ballpark.
I am confused I believe the current boathouses cannot be sold, they can only be kept in the family. The DNR is trying to get rid of them. I would check this out first, to be sure it is duable.

Thanks for the heads up, I had not heard of that. Just sent the dnr a request for info on this.
It looks like they relaxed the family sale requirements according to this article.
the dnr have got rid of a lot or the requirements. like how much money you can spend on it in a years time. I so know that if you do any work on them you need to get a building permit from the city of la Crosse or you will be fined. Also Have seen these boathouse go for $10,000.00 to $50,000.00 depending on the condition they are in.
