I’ll have to give BK some credit, the spam chili was rather tasty. Sorry Jeff. As far as the losers being my co workers tomorrow, I’m feeling sorry for the FW tonight already starting to work. Sorry Dear, OOPS.

Here are some pics of the cook off. It was a great time and all the Chili’s were awesome!!!The judges had a hard time judging because I think they never tasted so many good chilis in a single day before.

Next year I’ll be making Pool 2 Walleye Cheek Chili.

I’ll need some help collecting the walleye cheeks, they must be of fish over 27 inches. Since P2 is catch and release, just cut out the cheeks, then release the fish.

Recipe calls for the cheeks of 25 fish.

    Any help would be appreciated!

Careful. The special regs on pool 2 specifically state that every 2 cheeks, even for released fish, count as 1 toward your possession limit.

Could be they tasted BK’s spam chili first and couldn’t get the taste out of their mouths the rest of the day….

Sure glad we stopped in for this. Lots of great chili’s. All the ones I tried where very good. The spam chili was pretty decent. There was also a chicken corn chili that I thought was very good. Nice mix of sweet and spice there. Good to see everyone to.

So is there a fish chili? Ive never seen one but it might be a interesting combination. And Brian its a no on pool 2 fish cheek chili.

It never did state if the fish needed to be cheek or cheekless on the release.

Googled fish chili and there are a number of recipes for it.
