Lake Pepin… Open?

    Is Pepin open yet? If it is still ice covered, how much ice remains? Thanks

    Wide open sailing as far as the eyes can see! No ice to hit…. but now that the water’s come up, we got stumps and sticks, etc, etc, to watch for. Got an itch to go run some gas through the VMAX?!

    Yes James, I’ve got an extreme itch to get the Big Block fired up and running. Those Yamaha’s are amazing motors, aren’t they?

    Now if I can only get those smallies to bite this early I’ll be a happy camper!

    It might be tough to get that bite this early but I think I’ll be trying on Sunday. Just to get out and make a few casts (bite or no bite) will do a lot for my sanity!!
