    can anyone tell me what the catch out on the pond off Hiway 31 there? northerns? panfish?

    Northerns, bluegills, crappie, perch, and largemouth are the most common. Really slow fishing now though with the ice as thick as it is. Only 9 fish were caught during the fishing contest 2 weeks ago.

    ok thanks–just wondering-drove by it and see houses out there was curious-anyone catching any on river at all??

    Below the hill (Methodist Campground) has been slow for a long time. Hopefully it returns to the great year of two seasons ago. We have been told…”wait until March!”…. Well, it’s almost March, and nothing yet!

    I used to fish Maiden rock area and head up and out by channel–but looks like a ghost town out there this year and don’t hear of anyone catching anything-so I have yet try it–80 miles round trip lil far to sit on ice-lol-so far Friday nights all you can eat fish frys sounding better!!
