Came to fish and WOW! Just a heads up to those who like to get some open water action, maybe seek elsewhere 
My 5yr old begged to come with and she was anxious to play with the sucker minnows. We are going to try to hike up further upstream see if we can find something open. Pics were from Ellison park and Montisippi.
The nuclear plant must still be shut down…I reported a couple wks ago it was shut down after I saw dead and lethargic fish all over the river. Hopefully, they will get it up and running soon.
I assumed it had been back on after a few days but…? Talked to a local there and he said it might be back on BC the ice keeps getting pushed last few times he’s been there. We made it up to where the power lines came through and a good ice shelf was still out from shore making it pretty tough to fish, that and the huge amount of ice in the channel.
Yeah it’s still down.

Looks like its up to 80%, with this weather wonder how long it will take to get some good open water up there. Either way I’ll take it!!
