What a mess! Stopped by dam 13, Big Slough, Sabula, & The Pallasades. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen the river that high. THe parking lot at Lazy River Marina was almost non-existant. I could tell the water had been higher in the last few days. I sure hope the forcast on the Army Corps of Engineers website is correct. They show the river dropping next week.

According to the Army Corps of Engineers website they’ve leveled the pool at about 14′ which I believe normal stage is 13′ and the flow is down to 110000 cfs so it looks like I’ll be headed that way tomorrow! 
Its dropping like a rock here on 14. Looking at the forecast for lock and dam 12, it looks like they will be dropping pool 13 some more, ought to push the fish back in to more normal summer time haunts! I sure hope it stabilizes for an extended period after the drop. I’m am way more than ready for some serious fishing!
