Ya know…(and I might be kidding myself) the DNR stocked 7000 blue cats at the St. Croix/Mississippi confluence in the ’70’s. That’s the last they were ever heard from.
There are plenty of blues down South, but they just don’t seem to be able to make it up here. I do believe we’ll have a few rogue fish coming by…something like 9 that we capture every 15 years or so.
Although I agree with Redneck, it sure is possible one whacked out Silver miss his mark and ended up in the hands of the DNR.
