    Tried to fish from shore in Montissippi Park this afternoon. The river is still about 2 feet too high for this. There were only a few places you could actually get at the water without being stuck in the trees. It was fun casting with the Switch Rod and it was a nice day, but other than that….

    I made it out this afternoon for a few hrs. It’s been way to long since I had some top water smallie action.

    I think I would have done a lot better from a boat

    Dang dbright it seems like you live in your boat all around the state
