St cloud area Mississippi river

Found IDO last night online.Wanna make sure I’m in the right section on the forums so let me know if I’m not.Thought I would try this out.I would say that the Mississippi in the st cloud area has been interesting after the big rain fall.The river bite is good . Blue gills ,carp and kitty’s are popping up all over.Small mouth is different everyday.The last few weeks I been using more simple tactics like circle and j hooks with worms.Orange or yellow gumball jigs with slight turns on the reel are getting bass for me.

Thanks Nick! Where do st cloud,Avon, Mississippi north ppl fit on these forums? I didn’t see st cloud on the list .

If you primarily fish the Mississippi river then I would jump in the mississipi forums or if there are certain lakes say mille lacs then post in there or if ur not sure just post in general discussion and someone will always point ya in the right direction.

I spend some time on that stretch in the spring and fall.

Yeah,I feel that it’s been tokens around here with the gills and smalliesI went out today and crappies are biteing and gills are in the same zone.Nothing but crawlers right now but I’m thinking in a couple weeks the river will come down more and I will switch to minnows and see what comes out.
