Spillway in Winona

    Anybody know whats going on there. Hauled all that rock in last fall and now there is a barge in there with a crane on it. Checked as far back as I could in the Winona paper and couldn’t find anything. Thanks.

    Have to assume some rip-rap restoration is in the works. The tub with the crane is used to place the rock from the water side.

    Figured that, just wondering where. Do a lot of fishing there.Maybe have to move to different area till they get done.Thanks

    Thanks for the heads up Art. I’ll have to go check it out, I have not been in there since ice fishing last in February.

    all the commotion might have the water all stirred up and could have smaller fish feeding on stuff coming up from the bottom which means bigger fish could be feeding on them, I wouldn’t write that spot off without giving it a shot first. Just a thought
