    Got this carp the other day. Haven’t seen one before. Heard it was a mirror carp? Really cool looking

    They are a pretty fish. Not a lot of them to be found. Use to get them in my nets now and then.

    Definitely a mirror carp I have caught them before and I know others who have caught them not knowing they were a mirror carp and had made the comment that they caught a very sickly looking carp that was losing all of it’s scales when in fact it was a healthy mirror carp.

    we also called them german carp but im not sure where that name came from i guess some old river rat

    In Albert Lea, as a kids growing up we called them Indian Carp.

    The Orange (Goldfish) or Orange & White or Orange, White & Black ones they now call Koy we called Orange Carp. We slaughtered them by the Hundreds or Thousands every Spring!
