We tried P4 this afternoon. I was a little suprised to see the number of boats with the cooler temperatures out but looks like everyone is getting a little Spring fever.

Fished plastics, blade baits, and one eyes. Caught mostly smaller Saugers and a one or two walleyes. It was sure fun to get out and use the boat again after the long Winter.

We wanted to stay later into the evening but the wind and cold temperatures drove us off the river around 5pm or so. Wondering how others did that fished during the day or into the evening??

Met Steve and Kari from Everts for the first time and they are really super people…Its so nice to get up to date river info right before launching your boat. Next time, I will try and remember to stop in the office before I launch and try and park my vehicle.

I even heard BrianK was Walleye fishing today; at least that was the rumor in the bait shop.

no pink just camoflauge i do believe. I have no idea how the hell you would keep that thing controllable while drifting in the current and with a transom mount trolling motor mounted on the bow. kuddos to them if its working lol

My brother in law and I were out on P 4 yesterday too. It was our 1st time there. My boat really struggled to catch fish. We started with plastics, then switched to meat that brother in laws boat was using and catching a few. We quit about 5 pm. It was a long cold day, but a good experience for a newcomer to P 4. Glad you got it some.

Nice ironH, the only pink on the Pontoon was a pink paddle tail. It was tough keeping that pontoon on the drift however, we did manage to put some nice male Eyes back in the river. We will be back!
