Pool 4 temp and flow data

    Can anyone tell me where I can find water temperature and flow data for pool 4? My old website at Rivergages appears to be nonfunctional.

    Click on LOCK STATUS REPORT, then MISSISSIPPI RIVER and add it to the box on the right.

    This will give the flows, temps and stages of the upper Mississippi River.

    What does knowing this information do for us as fisherman? What should I be reading and paying attention too?? I understand wanting to know the water temp. But am curious to know how the flow affects fishing and what numbers(speed of flow) are average, and whats too high or low?? Thanks for the help!

    For me it helps gauge how sketchy the ice can be on the lake while ice fishing. Especially in the channel.
