It’s unbelievable how people can even come up with crap like that. Just glad somebody came to their senses.

I have been in law enforcement for 33 years and I have never heard of so much crap as this case. I was ready to send money to a defense fund if necessary. These cases give law enforcement a bad name.

This is great news!!! Like RiverEyes said I am sure he has stacked up A pile of Lawyers bills, what do you guys say we start a FTR fund to help him out. Does anyone know how we would get the money to him. Would someone on the EFN staff be willing to collect the money, a place where we could send it in to? What does everyone think?

I thought the author of the article Mavzer submitted was setting up a collection fund. You know, if every registered member sent $5.00, that’d be $4,000.00 to help out! We should make a contact to that guy and see what situation still exists and then respond accordingly.

Now, this is a bad thing that could trigger other bad things, but for Mavzer, bringing this to the table, EVERYONE who responded, and everyone who signed the petition………..THANK YOU!!! By stepping up, a voice was heard and recognized. We may not have been the force that steered this out of court, but next time…………it just might be so!

You’ve got to stand for something………………….and you all did! You know who you were so take a minute, feel the pride, and give thanks for knowing you weren’t alone in your convictions.

I am really glad that the case was dropped….. I really appreciate all the support on the ftr…… great poeple, here…. It has been a joy fishing and meeting many of you out on the river and I am sure I will meet many more of you…….

I have to admit that the guy that brought this to my attention was …. a collegue of “the cat killer” named Jon Schweitzer.(my cousin) if you stop in at Everett’s his picture is on the fish board….. great guy…..if you see him on the river he can tell you all about the case and legal fees….. and what the costs ended up to be…… Thanks again
