    Yes but be careful. I always wait until someone else has gone out first. Remember the thickness of ice will vary from one location to the next.

    I won’t venture on a river without someone that knows the area and has a good spud.

    Drive by the river 15x a week at least and interesting to see open water just be there and gone again a day later. They change the flow so much up here its hard to keep with it but very volatile system to say the least. But hey get some buddies to hold the other end of the rope and go for it
