Pool 10 dredging

    I have heard they may dredge some sloughs in pool 10 this spring. Does anyone else know anything about this and if so which sloughs? Thanks, SNAKEYES

    Yes …The Army Corps. Eng. started last fall on the south end of Tillmont .They really aren’t useing a dredge but a big back hole. In the next 3 years they have plans on doing quite a bit in the Ambrose area .Like blocking off the channel entrance of Black Slough and putting a tube in their so they can adjust current for the winter time and quite a lot more .Will it help who knows??     What I’ve heard is that the Corp. is suppose to dredge big and little Missouri and also Spring lake.The Iowa side is going to raise the launch in Harpers and that material is comming from dead slew.That contract has been awarded and should start in April.
