I live about an hour from Spirit Lake, IA so for me it’s easy… Try the fisherman’s Factory Outlet I have never been disappointed with any purchase.
I have 2 kids of my own and 3 nephews. I find it easier to replace a rod I paid $8-$14 than gear I have paid over$100.

I really like the feel of the Dead Eyes. The one knock I have on them is how long the split grip handle is. It seems like the reel seat is about a foot up the rod, which makes it seem like you’re fishing a shorter rod than you really are.

I like the rod quality, the feel and the warranty. Just not sold on the high position of the reel seat.

I use two walleye rods for ice fishing fenwick e-tech ice rods 27 inch medium. I also use Berkley lighting ice rods 28 inch medium light, and medium. Have had very good luck with both!
