Headed out on upper Pool 4 Sunday. Was jigging with jig and minnow hoping the crappie were still biting (caught 5 or 6) or maybe the eyes had started (nope, not for me). Then hooked into this brute. Amazed I got it in the boat with 6 lb mono! 35 inches. Released. Lost another that appeared to be about as big. Whew. Exciting! Water temp was about 50 degrees on my gauge, so getting closer to eye time. I hope.

We also was out there on Sunday we managed on 7 crappies and we also didn’t get any walleyes to bite for us either.
Saturday was just plain brutal with the windy conditions.
    Nice looking fish!!!!

    She’s a chunky one!

Did you get wet when she came to the boat?!

She was definitely pissed, BK. And slimy. My buddy decided to lay her on the floor of my boat so we could admire her/get her out of the net. Let’s just say my boat has a certain aroma to it now.
