Sunday was a nice afternoon–too nice to stay home. So, daughter Hannah and I wandered over to Everts to visit a bit. Of course, we never leave home without rods. Good thing too!

Hannah pitched some of her hand-tied 1/32 and 1/16 ounce crappie jigs…caught perch, several bluegills, redhorse, carp, largemouth, smallmouth, and turtle! I just vertical fished by the dock.

It was a blast hanging out with Mary and her kids too! She saved us with the net for the carp–surely would have broken off.

Steve and Kari were awesome once again! They didn’t mind the kids running up for crawlers and water and pop. Here’s a few pics too.

    What fun we had!

Thanks for including my younger ones in your catching Scott!!! They will not forget it anytime soon! It was nice hanging with you and Hannah as well, and I was glad to lend a hand with the net.

I should have stayed on the dock.

Its better you left on your own, than it would have been to be kicked off the dock

Yep, you shoulda! Highly recommend a sit…maybe bring out the BK lounge chair complete with built in stink bait holder.

Mary did catch a few cats–I think.

You would live just as long had you not said that Kari.
