    Jerad,

If you are looking for bait and some tackle items I would highly recomend Everts Resort. Steve keeps the ramps open and salted down, so no problem with launching.

Plus, Steve talks to everyone coming on and off, and has the most up to date info. Bait shops are largely heresay. He does a great job there! Plus your minnows don’t splash around your car, or get dumped on your feet!

These guys are right. Spent a few days at Evert’s. Steve was a great host while we were there and share alot of local knowledge with us out of state guys. Has a well stocked bait shop and besides that you will probably get a big wet welcome by that lab pup of his. Made me feel right at home.

Back on Feb 1 at the Walleye Expo Ralph told me he thought he’d be back in posession and have the shop open in “a couple weeks.” When lawyers get involved, who really knows. I’ve not heard an update on that timetable I’d consider accurate.

Ralph is selling bait and licenses, plus very limited amounts of tackle out of his bike store next to 4-seasons until he opens the large bait shop again. Otherwise there is a bait store down old west main from 4-seasons (down by the pottery place/sears) I haven’t been in there, I have only seen the cardboard advertisements placed on hwy 61 in town.
