Putting this post up to get some local feed back.Iam new to the area as most of you know, last year I was told you had a great hatch.Sauger and walleye?I know where grew up(winnebago system)we prayed for good rains in the spring. Most of the fish in the bago system move more than 60 miles up the Wolf river to spawn in the flooded marches.I had a chance to work with Ron Burk and Kenall Kemke with the Wi Dnr a few years back. They taught me a heck of a lot in one day.We shocked over 300 fish in one day and took creel data and measurements and tagged the fish.Ron had told me alot of fish are reported caught the next day.The next time I go I would rather be in the data boat,I still have nightmares about missing some of the big spawnners with the net.LOL!!!!! See you on the water.
Bring on the water
