North metro river ramps

    Hey everyone, just thought I’d share what I saw this weekend.

    Fridley ramp off 694 – closed. Sign up stating due to high and dangerous currents, ramp is closed.

    Camden – You could launch there. Water was up to the parking lot, and a big tree was blocking most of the ramp. The floating dock is not in the water, and the fishing pier is under water. I never realized how nice this launch was until this weekend. I don’t think it gets much use, either.

    Champlin access is also closed unless you are pulling a boat/pontoon off the river. It’s up 3-5′ and the current is really moving right now on this pool.

    Oh, I should have added this one:

    Brooklyn park off 85th – ramp is flooded out.

    Things look to be dropping now, so the worst is probably over.
