The FW drove by the 494 access on Pool 2 this afternoon and said that the barricades are in place. Looks like more busines for Willy’s. The water was up beyond the turn-around, and a lot of junk was moving down river.

Anytime you can tie your boat off to the tree in the turnaround you know you are in trouble. some of the former SSP residents might like to see a pic….

That would make a good picture, however I’m guessing SSP-PD wouldn’t think much of me moving the barricades out of the way.

Will take a look at Lions in the morning but kinda figure that is closed to. Willies and Mississippi pub should still be good to go.

Oh I’m sorry, I thought you waned a picture of a boat tied up to the tree on turnaround island. I’ll see if I can swing by there and get a picture for you today. I think today is supposed to be the crest.

494 launch a few days ago when they pulled the dock. looks like they sent the rookie in to hook up the dock haha.

Thanks for the pix Ski. I told the DNR guy that’s been sitting down there it might hit the steps. I’m close to being right.

Looks like that tree is hung up on the ramp. What time did you guys take that photo? We trolled cranks threw there around 10 am and that tree was not there.

10 minutes after taking that picture the Becky Sue came down river pushing 4 barges. The wake lifted the log off and sent it on it’s way. That was good to see; it was hung up on the cement divider blocking both ramps and would have been tough to move once it was high and dry.

I dropped in at the Levee on Friday. On the way in we watched one of the boys from the city of SPP clear out the debris from the dock with the tractor. Did a great job and honestly it looked like fun! He wasnt afraid of gettin that tractor wet.

On a side not. Though the river is way up the flow seemed to be restricted!!! Seen alot faster water anyways. Seams were set up really nice and it was a great day to be on the water with no other boat traffic. Even caught some walleyes
