Just curious how many pool 8-9-10ers that also live in the area use our site.

New to the area, have hit Dresbach and the Black River thus far. I’m zipping around in a white Kenner bay boat.

Always looking for hot spots, big fish and somebody to hold my beer while I do something stupid (or land a big fish).

I believe the tourney is for walleyes put on by the Stoddard Lions or the Fire and Rescue or both. I usually fish from Dresbach to Genoa and points in between.

9’s my favorite, but I like 10, and sometimes even 11 to throw things up a bit. Gotta love 9 though, tough to beat.

Mostly 8 back waters (the cruisers with their 8 foot wakes frustrate me too much for the main channel ) fished 7 for the first time last year (had a blast with a hula popper ), grew up bottom fishing the dam in upper 9 for channel cats with my dad.

    Stodard Bergen Fire Dept Walleye Tourney… 16th year 526 anglers entered …1 Big fish. Top 30 0r 35 get a check…
this Cowpoke will only “catch” a check if wandering the prarie in search of Eyes works… As usual post spawn is a tough bite for bigguns…Tons of 13-16 inch saugers and 2# walleye, but it normally takes 4#s plus to make a deposit in the bank account. We caught bass nearly that big yesterday..

I’m new to the site and loving every bit of information I can. Being in Lansing I’m mostly on pool 9 but have traveled to Lynxville a bit and fish the Black River a lot. Good Fishing to ALL. P.S. They had at least one 5# and probably about 8 or so in the 4# range in that Tournament.

I spend most of the summer on 9 fishing out of the Blackhawk area. I spent Friday morning, fishing the edge of the crowd, at Victory. Got a couple nice eater males and a couple smallmouth. I will be up there Tuesday through Thursday this week. Good luck fishing.
