    Sure hope they do something other than talk. Guess with all the low clearer water from last fall to this spring on pool 2 I started to get spoiled. The rain about to weeks ago and mud that followed sure was a change and a reminder of how impaired the Mississippi river is.

    I am all for farmers and agriculture, that being said, there needs to be better practices put in place regarding runoff from farm fields into the Minnesota River. I have often wondered if in 100 years or less, not only will the upper end of Pepin be filled in but many of the backwaters too in pools 2-4.

    just curious, but how many people from IDO were at the cleanup at spring lake on p2 this year?
