win a certification notice from Naughty Pine Fish Camp on the English River system in NW Ontario during the Walleye Expo at Canterbury? One free week of accomodations for the cert. holder, but it’s a two guest minimum and the cost is $875.00 for the guest. Includes accomodations and a rental boat w/ 20 horse motor and bait for a Saturday through a Friday. Food is additional as is transportation to and from Canada. My wife signed me up for this at the Expo. Am I lucky or is this just a pretty clever marketing tool? Just wondering if anybody else signed up/ got the certificate. If you take the 875.00 for the week and split it two ways it’s not such a bad deal and my buddy and I were looking for a way to go to Canada this year.

    Just wondering…

My son-in-law and I both thought we had gotten lucky also, but it is pretty obvious this is only an advertising ploy. I would guess that there were hundreds of those sent out. I think it is kind of scammy………

Thats why the women wont let me fill any thing out at any show. All you seem to get is solictors calling or phony “you have just won” letters in the mail. I get enough junk mail as it is, even though I do like looking at pics from canadian shield lakes!!

All I can say is be careful. There are many good Canadien trips priced at 450.00. I have heard some things on this Resort.

If anyone is ever interested we do a 44 ft.houseboat trip on LOW every year, runs about 450, and sleeps six. Released between 30 and 40 eyes last year 23 to 28 inch, still looking for a 12 pounder. Good people to deal with, with nice boats.

I have heard of good trips for around 450 also. They want an extra 225 per person for meals. Can anyone recommend a good Canadien trip for walleye, smallies and muskie?

I got the same thing in the mail too, I thought it sounded to good to be true. A fellow Walleye Searcher member told me about a Canadian fly in trip that he went on that I would like to try one of these years, Seseganaga Wilderness Lodge, Savant Lake, Ontario. Plenty of eater Walleye and it is know for its trophy northern. The three day American plan is $595 per person it includes lodging, meals, boat, motor, gas, linen, air fare, and all applicable taxes. The seven day American plan is $958. They do not have a web site but if you want more info you can call them at 1-800-265-0740. Like I said I have not been to this place yet but it is on the top of my to do list. Maybe Mike can jump in here and tell us about his trip.

I can’t recall the magazine, but I recently saw this certificate as a give away on one of the pages. Plus I received one of these a couple years ago in the mail as well!
