I was heading out when most folks were heading in. I came back off the water at 11pm and just a friendly reminder to drain your boats over the water and not half way up the ramp or at the top of the ramp as it doesn’t take much to slick the ramp up.

I salted the ramp when I left so things should be good for the morning.

Solid reminder there, how was the bite?

Bite was great. From 4:30 to 5:30 it was an 18″+ walleye every 2nd or 3rd cast. Then I upsized to 6 inch kalins and went piggy hunting. Lost one nice one at the boat, but continued to catch cookie cutter 18″ eyes on the kalin up until I left.

Speed of the current was changing so I constantly had to change jig head size to get the drift right.
