I think Steve mentioned this new place a few weeks ago. I haven’t been there yet. I agree, it’ll be nice to have a spot so close to the 494 landing!

I’ll second that idea. Sell ring worms and I’ll be there. Especially if you sell them in bulk and customers can buy as many or few as they like.

    Hey Joe,

Glad you made your way over to the site here!
I talked to you a little while back at Stockman’s gas station.
How has business been so far?
By staying active here on the site will definately bring more and more biz your way.

Have any interest in advertising on the site?
Do you currently have a website availible for “The Pad?”
We have bait shops, resorts, and marine delaers that have all benefit from having a advertising banner on the site for people to quickly access all the necessay information needed to stop in and get all set up for a day on the river.
LEt me know if you are interested!

This is without a doubt the best fishing information website there is anywhere.
I look forward to talking to you more in the future!!
    Again welcome aboard!

    Travis,

I have been south quite a ways trying to figure another bite out. I have been on the upper stretches quite a bit over the last week but for no long periods of time. Had a decent bite waaay south on 2 but that had fizzled away as of late. I will be back on the upper stretches this week and back down to Red Wing by the end of the week. THe bite has picked up a bit from late last week for me. Inside turns current breaks have been more consistent for me on the upper strecthes both pitching and Rogueing! Water levels are dropping back down and we should see things get much better again. Timing is good for the big fis bite, but need the river to cooperate a bit more. I should have a report up by the end of the week.

    Joe,
Glad business is good for you. I look forward to stopping down to see you in the next few days.
What is your bait selection right now? What is your supply for plastics or crankbaits, etc…?
Hopefully when they get the 494 ramp area all clean back up after the bridge work, your business will get busier and busier with more traffic to that ramp area! I have been putting in way south or way north as of late.
    Talk to you soon Joe!

Thats what I had figured. I have been doing fairly good on breaklines with 3-ways. They only want it a certain way, so it’s a fair amount of work. I’m haeding out shortly to see what the AM may hold. Still nothing dragging cranks…. yet. Doesn’t help much either when a boat happens to anchor up right on top of you when they see you nail a fish. Dragging the anchor through a spot tends to ruin any sort of bite.

Need directions. I couldn’t see it from Concord. Directory assistance does not have the number and the email address listed under the owners user name does not work. Help.

    Joe,

    One last question,
What are your normal store hours so when I send my customers your way I can let them know.

    Thanks buddy.

    Hey Steve ?

Where is this at , compared to where Jacob and Jordan live ? If it’s close I’ll send them there for their tackle.

    Dave,

Here is a link to the other post about the bait shop and their location.

    Previous post about “The Pad”

This bait shop is located near the 494 ramp off of Concord St. There is a link to the location.
Your nephews are located about 8-10 miles from this bait shop.
