    Bass..pike..crappies and gills were on the feed bag today.

    Bass and pike on cranks and gills and crappies on minnas.

    Biggest bass went 4 lbs 2 ozs and the slab went 13 inches.

    Caught and released over 30 bass..with most well over 2 pounds.

    Nice fish,though I hate to see all that blackspot on the pike.

    Walk was kinda slow..had the girlfriends dad and his buddy along with..lol.
    Man I tell ya as soon as that sun drops it gets a tip bit nipply. Thank god we were kinda tucked out of that nasty wind.. Got to be thankful for the wind though.. It pushed the bait nicely on the east shore and the fish were stacked.. Crappies were a bit skidish due to all the toothies in the mix.

Usually if you see the black spots you’ll find small, yellow worm larva in the gills and meat. This is the same blsack spot stuff you’ll find in the local reservoirs where current is nil to non-existent.

    Thanks for the info. I have seen them before, but never knew what they were.
