Red Wind area bait shops

I have stayed at the Super 8 a couple times when I am lucky enough to make it up in the fall (almost 6 hours away). The bait shop right by the motel, on the way to Bayview is closed from what I understand. Is there another close, or am I best off stopping at Everts, assuming they still have bait. That’s where I went when Dean was there. Thinking minnows to back up the selection of Moxis and other plastic Dean loaded me up with the last couple years…. LOL. They’ll most likely just keep the minnow bucket occupied, but.

Trying to decide if early next week is my shot, or I take a chance at later in the season if the weather breaks. The info will be great to have either way…. sucks living so far off, and living through this site.

    Thanks!!

Where is Runnings Farm & Fleet?? Ever since S&D closed down, i’ve been at a loss in Red Wing…

4 Seasons is probably your best bet. They should have everything you need. They carry B fish N tackle and I believe they might even have some of Dean’s Tacklebox producs as well.

I would avoid Everts at all costs if I were you.

Second bump for 4 Seasons. They have a good handle on what’s happening on the river. More than just fatheads too.

Farm and Fleet for a $2.00 down and dirty scoop of fatheads.

    Thanks!

Not sure how I never noticed they were right around the corner from the motel. Just called, and they have good enough hours to make work for sure. Now if I can get to Bayview this fall before everything ices up, I’ll be all set. (fishing alone it helps to have those docks in)

I guess advertising might help! Maybe mention you heard about the on IDO when you stop by.
