Despite the wind, cool air and poor walleye bite. Louie, Tom and I decided to put some time in on pool 4. The day didn’t start off so well for most involved. We experienced some car troubles. Thankfully they didn’t keep us off the river. We got a good laugh when some fellow shore fisherman experienced a mid-October dip (waist deep) in the river due to some unstable footing. I’ll give him his props though. He jumped back up and went right back to fishing. He was still there 2 cold hours later when we moved on.

The Saugerama guys were all over out there as well but I didn’t see many nets in the air. It’ll be interesting to see what the results are.

The bites weren’t fast and furious but overall it was a good day on the river.

Awesome pics and report. If ya don’t mind, where is that park? I’d love to take my 6 yo son there. Looks spacious and kid friendly. PM is ok, too.
