Just purchased a Yamaha T8 kicker and will be putting it on a Crestliner 1750 SC with F115 Yamaha. What side of the main engine do you guys recommend to mount it, port or starboard?

I had the exact same setup last year and ran mine off the passenger side. For no other reason than that is what Im used to. It puts a little more weight on that side of the boat possibly giving better balance. But that motor is so darn light that it probably wouldnt make any difference. Great decision on boat and motors you will be very happy Im sure of that.

Both Nate and I run our kickers on the passenger side. Hold the handle with the left hand and rod in the right hand if its not in the rod holder. Works great. It will all depend on which way is more comfortable for you and more productive for the way you fish. Bill
