Hot weather pike action

    Grandsons #2 and #3 caught personal best northerns this week. They started with 32″ fish each and after 4 days have 35.25″ and 36.25″ PBs . This morning saw 21 come to the boat with about 20 long distance releases also. Casting 3 different style baits got everyone into the action – but grandpa spent most of his time unhooking their fish.

    Nice pike! I had a mid 30’s fish get off next to the boat this morning (quick release) and caught a few other decent ones. Lost a $15.00 Japanese bait to one, too!
