I was watching a river otter on the shoreline with her cubs…never seen river otters on P2 before…when I reached back to start the tiller. That’s when I noticed that the tiller handle felt rougher than usual.

I don’t usually have a problem with snakes…but when my head turned to see why the drive lever on my Suzuki felt so much like ummm…a snake…my blood started pumping and I was at the bow with Kristin pretty quick.

That was just the start of the fun…he then proceeded to crawl into the housing of the lower unit and take up residence for a while .

Well we did have a fun day and I caught one nice 28 and lots of small ones.

You are a man, I would have been in her arms!

    That’s a great release shot!

That looks like sneaky snake. He’s a joker. Nice fish. We did all right on numbers over the weekend. Not much for big fish. Tried soaking some bull heads for cats and caught one flat head about 15#s. It was fun seeing all the fireworks going off from the river.

Congrats on the big walleye Jason. Good to see she is still hanging around.
