Whew, was starting to jones pretty bad with a whole day without FTR.
You can say that again! Sure feels good to be back home [FTR]. At least we had FTL to calm down the nerves hey!
I thought I accessed it one two many times from work and the managment was getting even. Thanks for posting the message on FTL .It could have been a lot worse. The site could have been down and when I got back in,there might have been two hundred messages on how good they were biting yesterday. Thats usually my luck. Steve
Whew. I thought we were going to be down ALOT longer. Im pretty stunned were back up this soon actually.
Great work guys! I thought the FTL message indicated a much longer down time than what it turned out to be so hats off to all involved in getting “her” back on line!
Any good withdrawal meds out there? LOL!
Good to be back home! Thanks for posting a message over on FTL that helped calm the nerves. Ahhh and now its time to check out the posts from the weekend. Home Sweet Home.
yeah this is good after a day of withdrawl feels good again to be back on here, it is pretty hard to describe a withdrawal like this. prolly equivillant to, well we will leave it at that.
Actually, I was going to say something more in line with the rest of you about site withdrawl and all that, but really, don’t you think we get just a little too giddy over FTR?————–burp!————brain fart!——nah, I think not.
Glad you’re back up. I missed it too!
It’s great to see FTR back online…It was pretty tough on me, BUT I had visions of some (possibly kid, eyes and others) in the corner of their basements in the fetal position shivering from withdrawals! LOL
Again it’s GREAT to see you up again for everyone’s sake.
CPC,
Lets just say we had to renew a service and were not aware of the service needing renewal. And without that service you get nuthin. But someone up their likes us because the down time in this type of case can run up to a week or longer depending on the mood of the person on the other end of the phone. I got James in touch with the right person and he did the rest and we made it happen. I hope I havent been too vague but that is really all I can say.
glad to see it back up and running. Heck I just figured it was something I did, that seems to be the case most times John
Here is the real weird thing…..I actually had no problems at all yesterday!! I actually made a couple of posts on the Tournament Forum around 1:00 in the afternoon. It was strange being the only person in the “Who’s Online” list all day.

I noticed some posting times that made me wonder “how the heck?” but didn’t feel a need to pursue the question. You just must’ve had the right route or service that could “sneak in”!
I can explain. DNS tables are where all dot com address are placed so they can be found on the internet. These dns tables are region based and exist all over the world. Our domain (fishtheriver.com) was removed from dns tables regionally and had not gotten to Jon J’s region yet. This can take 24 hrs or so to propagate across all dns tables. By today, several dns tables all over the world would have been purged of fishtheriver.com. But since we renewed a service that needed renewing, we put the kabosh to our domain being removed from all dns tables. Just like when we were being added back in yeseterday, Bill Cadwell could see FTR but I couldnt. The addition of fishtheriver.com back into the dns tables had hit his region but hadnt gotten to mine yet. Then about 10 minutes later, wham I was able to get onto FTR. Gosh I hope that made sense. And we can put this to rest and get onto fishing and the river.
Uh…..yeah……uh…..right. Whatever you say Hougie. I understood the last sentence at least. Welcome back guys!
This is all I could muster…without my fix on FTR

they even started to look like fish to me!!
( Next time I’m going to the basement to shiver in the corner!!!)
All I know is it is up and running. I think Steve thought I had lost it when I e-mailed him and said I was back on. Then another e-mail came from him saying he was also back on. Whew! Thought he, James, and Hawger were going to call the guys in the white jackets to take me away. ha Bill
