I pulled out my fishin log and I was catching plenty of eyes on 2 last year at this time…although it says the flow was 8800 and the water temp was … um… 64.

April 18, 2011 at 12:50 am #958192Very nice afternoon on the river. As expected the flow in the main channel is up but the river seemed to be fairly clean. Launching at Willies is very easy with their ramp being towards the back of the marina with no flow on it.
I must of missed the $5 launch fees sale this morning as they charged me $10.
If you are not familiar with boating in high river flows this still may not be the best time for you to learn. If your boat is not in tip top shape you may also want to let water levels come down some to. There are very few people on the river right now. Only seen 2 other boats today. If you get in trouble out there you might be on your own.

Are they still giving a free drink ticket with your launch fee? For some reason I think they did last year
