Hey don’t know what it is called but the new culvert/bridge on that small cut on pool 2. Can you get through that culvert with a boat. Deep V?
Was river touring yesterday with my daughter and wasn’t willing to risk going down through there and not being able to get back up being 16 miles from home and all.

Looked nice and scenic on the other side though!

sure can, the culvert is deep and has a big scour on the down stream side.. I don’t know what it looks like yet this year as you go down river though. There were two areas that got silted in pretty good last year. You could get all the way down but guessing a lot has changed since this last high water season. Nothing that you couldn’t figure out though. Silt is pretty soft )

No, not yet. It sounds like another month at the earliest. They have everything needed but installation of the new slabs at the lunch were not scheduled to go in till the second week of September I believe. They are going to finally get a chance to work on it now with the water dropping but think the contractor doing the install was booked out till then. They usually don’t free up early either. Move backwards if anything. It should be a great launch this fall. I will check in on it in a couple weeks and update you all. Not sure if Mike was doing the fall walleye tournament down there but could still use the island and launch at hidden harbor. Would have to pay a launch fee though.
