Pool 9 weeds?

    Are the weeds terrible right now?

    I was there like ten days ago, and they hadn’t even started…. then fished above pool 9 in Stoddard and didn’t see any real beginning to them getting ready to. Others will have better answers but I think we are a ways away from it yet.

    The water temp has to come down a bit to get the weeds in your way of fishing. Don’t fret though…it won’t be long.

    Only a few weeds coming down which made casting cranks and trolling tougher in some areas. Sunfish bite was good along with some perch in 2-5 fow.

    Cool… I’m hoping to get over next week for a couple days… I never figure out the perch. Crappies and gills I can usually find, perch, just never done much of it.
