We put up a tough fight today…popped a pile of holes in any where from 4″ to 12″ of ice with my Strikemaster Lithium Later and I’m getting more impressed each time out !! I think it only came down one blip off full charge !!!
Well determination is what caught us our fish today as the first 3 spots and 40 holes did not produce a fish and very few returns on the LX5 ..
Cecils and Waxie Jigs were the most productive baits of the day !!

Hovercraft and Lithium Lazer. That’s all I want for next Christmas Santa…I’ll be good, I promise!
I have the cecils so I guess I just need your hovercraft and then I can be just like you hahaha. That looks like a perfect way to start the new year, my day on the ice wasn’t as spectacular, as my dad outfished me in an embarrassing manner. We were on pool 13 near Savannah.
Saw that trailer over at the launch across from Lansing. I was hoping I could get a look at the machine it carried so thanks for posting it. I guess I’ll pick up a lottery ticket tomorrow
Sounds like my day here on Lake Onalaska…..minus the sweet hover craft. 1/8 oz spoons tipped with a minnow head had been producing nice crappies but had to size down today to Cecil’s with two waxies eventually caught fish. Nothing fast and furious but enough for dinner.
Definitely need a video of your excursion!!! I was thinking of building an airboat out of an old jon boat for early and late ice. Looks like a great time.
