Pool 8 is on fire right now

    Fished 4 hours yesterday afternoon and caught a limit of keeper Perch,( big 13 inches),and gills,(big 9 inches) .. and a bunch of bonus bass on finesse dragon tail on drop shot(largest wall hanger).. as simple as it gets .. chunk of crawler on the bottom .. hard part was finding the 50 ft circle all the largest fish came from out of 10 acre pocket.. Late September & October are always big for Perch but the numbers of biters in 4 hours was amazing today. I don’t guide on these pools anymore except for ice fishing.

    Pretty much a repeat of yesterday but more 8 inch plus Gills ,and more 13 inch plus perch (first 2 females today)… Water appeared to drop about 15 inches between sundown last night and 5 PM today.. so this bite in this area is probably about over. There were times today when we couldn’t keep 2 lines in the water

    Outstanding. Sounds like it was a perfect time to be on the water. Great job .
