Because that’s the only body of water in the world with a mercury problem.

    Nummy toast toast toast

Tried the boxed corn flake breading last time, awesome, had the sturdiwheat last couple times before that, awesome, panko lemon pepper before that, awesome.

So many ways to cook these things it’s hard not to love em, and as stated it is unfortunate we have to limit ourself on consumption bc of the junk in our waters.

These were just good old original shore lunch with some salt and pepper. Also baked some in the oven with panko bread crumbs and lemon for my wife. They turned out pretty well.

    And I agree….nummy.

Take a breather boys, twas but a joke, hence the emoji.

I’ve eaten crappies out of pool 2 once a year for the past 2 or 3 years and have no worries whatsoever. This ear growing on my foot really makes walking difficult, though… shock

It should have been obvious immediately that Auto 5 was joking…

“Mercury is a silvery-white metal element that is liquid at ordinary room temperature; it has no taste or smell.”

It’s the PCB’s that givem the tang. ;)

Yes, that photo sure pulls at me. I need to take my annual token walleye trip soon!

I got the joke….that’s way better than when my friends say something like “you eat fish from the river??!!! Aren’t there like dead bodies and stuff in there.”

That’s when I tell them yes….don’t ever go there or fish there.

BK, the eater size saugers are everywhere down there right now. Now is the time to get a good meal. Cold water fresh fish are the best. You’re just a short boat ride away!

Wait till the new bridge is built. With it’s lookouts we’ll be able to drop a hook right in the middle of the river! LOL!
